Get My Bridal Shower Vibe

Second blog for this month! I figured I would share some items if you want to recreate my vintage tea party bridal shower vibe!

Let’s start with the decor. My sister did a beautiful job on setting it up and spoiled me by renting the Western Development Museum Balcony. It was amazing! 

I’m not sure where she got some things and I know for a fact that the sets used were family heirlooms. However, I’ve linked similar things I found. I used Amazon to make it easier in case you DID want to recreate or take inspo from my shower. That way it’s all from one place and can be delivered right to your house! 

Ps. A lot of these things, I just found dupes for (including my gifts) again just to keep it easier so everything’s all in one place :) 

So here we go:

Guestbook

Tea Set & Decor


We used family heirloom ones but this is similar to mine ❤️


Portable record player


We used the one my dad got me for Christmas a long time ago. But this is the exact brand. Mine just has a British flag ❤️


Babies breath


Some artificial babies breath was mixed in with the real flowers ❤️


Bridal Shower Photo Props

We used some props for photos ❤️

We used my typewriter that I found at a thrift store a year or two ago❤️

Flower Bouquet


Although I had a real bouquet of flowers, these are sort of similar ❤️

Again- mine were a real bouquet of chrysanthemum but these are similar  ❤️


Glitter Scrapbook

She made me a scrapbook and everyone could look at it while the tea party was on ❤️

Closest I could find to our family heirloom one that was used to hold the guestbook stationery ❤️

That was the decor and vibe. Now onto MY vibe! I went for a mix between Marilyn Monroe and 1940s woman. I found two dresses that are both similar so I’m starting with linking them both:

Dress

This one isn’t  as similar as the one I wore but it has a wider size variety ❤️

Dress

This is more similar as it’s vibe is more “vintagey”. But the size variety is less inclusive atm ❤️


Gloves

I wore gloves like this so you could still see my ring through them and I could still go on my phone ❤️


Bra



Wore a nude bra and slipped the straps off the side so they were hidden under my dress ❤️

Helped keep the dress looking how I wanted it to ❤️

Now onto the gifts! Some of these have been substituted for something similar. For example I got a bottle of champagne and since Amazon doesn’t sell champagne, I instead have linked a champagne cork holder, etc. so keep that in mind. How To Beat The Winter Blues With Hygge

Now that the holidays are over, the winter blues can start to set in. Personally, I love the holidays for family time together, the cozy warmth and Christmas spirit. Who says Christmas spirit has to end come the New Year?  I have always been someone who loves Christmas and have even been known to listen to Christmas music in the sweltering hot days of July.
