1. SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor 2. There are two ways SPF works: A) Block B) Absorb **For best results, get a sun screen that does both** 3.You should be using a shot glass full of sun screen for your body at least 20 minutes before sun exposure. (Cream base) 4. You should re-apply your sunscreen every 2-3 hours as directed on the bottle. (You can use spray to re-apply) 5. Using just a spray of sunscreen (and no cream sunscreen), will not give you enough protection. If you get a spray of SPF 30 in a spray can, and don't apply a cream sunscreen before, after all the math, you are only getting an SPF of maybe 2. 6. For your cream sunscreen, grab a minimum of SPF 30. (any less, and it's not giving you any protection) 7. Opt for higher SPF's like 50+ for your spray can. 8.
