How To Ensure Your Pets Have a Safe Halloween

 Hello!  In this months blog I thought I’d share some tips/ what I do to keep my pets safe on Halloween.  I  grew up having cats  and dogs my entire life. These are the things that I was taught and things I figured out on my own. I hope this helps to keep your fur babies safe. Halloween can be a dangerous time for cats so my biggest tip is to: Isolate cats (put them in a low to no traffic room with the door shut) make sure to have water, food, litter , toys, beds, maybe a cat tree and some light on.     I also like to treat them with some soft food and/ or some extra treats or cat nip. You can also put on a show, movie or the radio. I like to put on something that’s Halloween themed but not creepy. You don’t want to scare them, and you don’t want them to feel trapped or alone. (Halloweentown 1, 2 & 3 work great.) another great recommendation is to have something that smells like you in that room to help calm them. If you have an easily stressed cat...
