Why you should be getting a spray tan!

Okay, so we have all heard about the sun causing cancer... Typical response "What doesn't cause cancer nowadays?' In the past few years people have become more aware of the suns harmful effects on their skin. But it seems that tanning in the sun is still a very common act. Lots of people will even use baby oil (which take up to 7 days to wash off of your skin completely) and lay out in the sun for hours on end!

Some people might opt for protecting their skin from the sun and pick up a drug store self tanner. (We've all been here...Jergens "natural glow"..) First off all, self tanner is HARD to apply by yourself. A lot of the time, the product isn't even coloured so you have no idea where you put the self tanner until after your shower the next morning when you come out looking blotchy. Self-tanners are a great way to get a tan without harming your skin but finding the right one can take a lot of blotchy days...

No one wants to get a spray tan because of the orange effect it can have on your skin and the fact that it gets to be a costly beauty habit for a sometimes uneven orangey look. BUT the new knowledge and product lines have come up with multiple products that have a brown base instead of orange and that last up to 10x longer than a both spray.

Many salons and spas are now offering airbrush spray tans. In an airbrush spray tan, the trained professional is actually manually spraying you with an airbrush machine by hand. This ensures an even-looking sun-kissed tan. The product used in these machines is sugar and tint (To answer the earlier commonly asked question... sugar and tint do not cause cancer) as opposed to turning in  the spray tan booth! (We've all seen that episode of friends, right?)

Moral of the story... No one likes Ross.....
